Q1. What is Special Summary Revision ?
The Election Commission of India conducts Special Summary Revision to enroll unenrolled eligible citizens during the month of Oct-Nov every year.

Q2. What activities will be completed in this SSR?
In this SSR following activities will be completed:
** Publication of Integrated draft electoral roll.
** Filing forms for inclusion/ correction/ deletion of names in electoral roll of NCT of Delhi.
** Final publication of electoral roll after disposal of Forms.

Q3. In this SSR who can be enrolled?
Ans. All eligible Indian citizens who have completed or will be completing age of 18

Q4. How many types of forms and what are their purpose?
There are following type of forms :-
Form 6 – Application for new enrollment or migration from one AC to another AC.

Form 6A – for enrollment of overseas electors.

Form 7 – Application for objecting inclusion or seeking deletion of name in Electoral Roll.

Form 8 – Application for correction to particulars entered in electoral roll or replacement of photograph.

Form 8A- Application for transposition of entry or transfer of one’s name from one part to another part of electoral roll of the same constituency.

Q5. What documents are required to be enclosed with Form 6?
Ans. One recent passport size coloured photograph, duly affixed in the box given for the purpose in Form 6 and photo-copies of documentary proof of age and residence are required to be enclosed with Form 6. The list of documentary proof of residence which can be enclosed with Form 6 is given below:- Indian Passport
** Driving License
** Bank/Kisan/ Post office current pass book
** Ration Card
** Income Tax Assessment order
** Rent Agreement
** Water Bill
** Telephone Bill
** Electricity Bill

The list of documentary proof of age which can be enclosed with Form 6 is given below:-
** Aadhar card
** Birth Certificte
** Marksheet of class 10 of 8 or 5
** Indian Passport
** PAN Card
** Driving License
** Baptism Certificate

Q6. Can I register my name in Electoral Roll at more than one place?
Ans. No, A person cannot be enrolled as a voter at more than one place in view of the provisions contained in Sections 17 and 18 of Representation of People Act, 1950.

** Likewise, no person can be enrolled as an elector more than once in any electoral roll.

** Any person while applying for fresh enrolment, makes a statement or declaration whether his / her name is already included in the electoral roll of any other constituency

** If such statement/declaration is false and which the applicant either knows or believes to be false or does not believe to be true, he is liable to be punished under section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
