For enrolment of overseas electors :
** Every citizen of India staying in a foreign country who has not acquired citizenship of a foreign country and has completed 18 years of age as on 1st of January of the year, can apply online, to be enrolled in the electoral roll of the constituency pertaining to the locality in which his/her place of residence in India as mentioned in the passport is located.

** He/she can apply online through the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala by clicking the link ‘Online Voter Registration, Apply Here’ and filling the required information in the form appearing on the website. After successful registration of the application, printout of the application, duly signed by the applicant, along with self attested copies of the current passport (including the pages showing details of visa) has to be forwarded to the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of the Taluk concerned. (The address of the ERO concerned will be automatically generated on the printout of the application.) The application submitted online will be considered by the ERO only on receipt of a duly signed printout of the application along with relevant documents as mentioned above. Passport size photo of the applicant should also be forwarded along with the signed printout (if not uploaded in the application at the time of online registration).
** If the print out of the duly signed application is submitted by the applicant himself /herself before the ERO concerned, the original passport should be submitted before the ERO, which will be returned to the applicant immediately after verification.
** If the NRI is found eligible for enrollment his/ her name will be included in the roll of the concerned polling station of the constituency pertaining to the locality in which his/her place of residence in India as mentioned in the passport is located.
** After the enrolment, an overseas elector (NRI Electors) will be able to cast his/her vote in the election to the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly in the concerned constituency, if he/she is physically present in the polling station along with the original passport on the day of poll.
