CEO Tamil Nadu Special Summary Revision

Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01.01.2024 as qualifying date, has commenced in all 234 Assembly Constituencies of the Tamil Nadu with draft publication of electoral roll on 27.10.2023.

The primary objective of the Special Summary Revision – 2024 is to include newly eligible and left out voters who have completed or will be completing age of 18 years on or before date 01.01.2024. Another objective for the Special Summary Revision-2024 is to give opportunities for correction in electors’ particulars and also to invite objections against any wrong inclusion in the Electoral Roll.

Any eligible citizen, who is going to attain the age of 18 years on or before any of the subsequent qualifying dates in the year 2024, that is to say, the 1st April 2024, 1st July 2024 or 1st October 2024, may also file his or her claim for inclusion of name in the roll, in Form-6, in advance, during the SSR starting from 27.10.2023. Such advance forms shall however, be disposed of in the first month of respective quarter only.

To Download Electoral Roll in PDF Format, follow the below steps
i) Go to the official website link https://elections.tn.gov.in/rollpdf/DRAFTROLL_27102023.aspx
ii) Choose District
iii) Select Assembly Constituency
iv) Click on Submit Button.

List of claims & objections in Forms-9, 10, 11, 11A & 11 B is also available on the website of CEO, Tamil Nadu so that citizens are able to see the list and lodge objections with ERO concerned.

Eligible voters can apply for SSR 2024 in Tamil Nadu by filling out the following forms:
Form 6: For inclusion of names in the electoral roll
Form 7: For deletion of names from the electoral roll
Form 8: For correction of entries in the electoral roll

Documents Required for SSR 2024 in Tamil Nadu :
** In addition to the filled-out forms, eligible voters will also need to submit the following documents for SSR 2024 in Tamil Nadu:
** Proof of residence: Any document issued by the government or any authorized agency which bears the applicant’s name and address
** Proof of identity: Any document issued by the government or any authorized agency which bears the applicant’s photograph and signature
** Proof of age: Any document issued by the government or any authorized agency which bears the applicant’s date of birth
